Eros Torso is a vase whose aesthetic power has defined the shapes of contemporary design in recent years. Designed in 2018 by the Danish artist duo Oliver Sundqvist and Frederik Nystrup-Larsen, this vase encapsulates everything we need to know about the times we live in.
The vase by NIKO JUNE was conceived in 2018 by the artist duo for an exhibition at the Tableau gallery in Copenhagen and was later launched in 2020 as the first product by NIKO JUNE. This vase was the object that sparked the energy for the beginnings of the Danish collective and remains their most recognizable and distinctive piece, contributing to their success.
Beyond its undeniable aesthetic strength, the Eros Torso vase has features that make it particularly attractive. The material of the vase is upcycled plastic, which is heated and molded according to the artists’ design. Thus, it is made from 100% upcycled material, making each vase sustainable, handmade, and unique—anyone who owns one has a completely personal version of Eros Torso.

The Danish brand NIKO JUNE has been active since 2020 and has been grabbing the attention of those interested in contemporary art and design ever since.
